Pump View is an above average sized two bedroomed semi-detached house located in the quiet outskirts of Greasby village close to the old village pump. Several pubs, restaurants and a tapas bar are within a short walking distance to relax in the evenings. Show a map of the area in a new window/tab.

Care is taken to control dust mite and other allergens so this accommodation is particularly suitable for asthma sufferers. Bedding has anti-allergen and antibacterial covers and washed at 60 degrees. A fully hedge enclosed rear garden, with a high bolted back gate, helps prevent young children getting out onto the roadway.

  • Lounge with 3 seater and a 2 seater sofa, TV, DVD player and HiFi audio system.
  • Gas central heating and hot water.
  • Dinning area with TV, table and 6 chairs.
  • Kitchen with electric cooker, fridge, washing machine, freezer and microwave.
  • Conservatory with additional table and 4 chairs.
  • Spacious double bedroom, with built in wardrobe, overlooking grassed areas to the front.
  • Smaller twin bedded room, with built in wardrobe, overlooking rear garden.
  • Upstairs shower room and separate WC.
  • Front and rear gardens mainly lawn and mature shrubs.
  • At the back of the rear garden there is a further ‘hidden’ garden area with patio, garden furniture and barbecue area - a real sun trap.
  • Offroad parking for 3 cars.

Location
The village of Greasby lies within the semi-rural belt of West Wirral close to National Trust coastal / woodland areas, golf courses and scenic beaches. The sunsets over Hilbre Island and towards the Welsh coast are a particular favourite of artists and photographers. Pump View is ideally situated for local attractions – Explore National Trust land or walk the Wirral Way from West Kirby to Parkgate and see rare birds as they fly over the River Dee estuary and RSPB reserve. Alternatively travel four miles to the nearby town of Heswall with its numerous shops, coffee bars and restaurants.

Greasby is within easy travelling distance of Liverpool, New Brighton, Hoylake and the City of Chester. Visit Liverpool with its many attractions, such as the World Maritime Museum and Walker and Tate Art Galleries or visit the National Trust’s Tudor Speke Hall. Not forgetting the Cavern Club and various other Beatles memorabilia sites. Buses stop regularly between Greasby and Liverpool or you could park at Meols Station (3 miles away) and catch a train to Liverpool Central.

The world famous Roman City of Chester is thirty minutes drive away. Wander along the two story medieval shopping lanes (the Rows), walk the Roman Wall and perhaps visit Chester Cathedral. Younger people will certainly enjoy a trip to Chester’s famous Zoo where the ‘park and ride’ bus service to the City is also located. An hour’s drive will take you to the North Wales coast or the Snowdonia National Park. Other more local tourist attractions include historic warships, Blue Planet Aquarium, space centre. and botanical gardens.

Booking

  • Bookings are normally from Saturday to Saturday (except short breaks) but we are flexible.
  • You are requested to arrive no earlier than 4pm and leave before 11am on the day of departure.
  • The property will be reserved for you upon receipt of the completed booking form and a £40 deposit. Confirmation and a receipt will be sent to you by return of post or email.
  • The balance is payable 6 weeks before commencement of your visit. If the accommodation is booked less than 6 weeks in advance, full payment must be sent with the booking form.
  • The number of persons staying must not exceed four. In the event of cancellation after the six weeks we will try to re-let, and if successful monies paid, less deposit, will be refunded.
  • Guests agree to leave the property in a reasonably clean and tidy condition.
  • Due to our asthma friendly policy, we regret no pets, and no smoking within the enclosed area of the building.
  • Please note the property is unsuitable for small children under 3 years old.
Directions
If you have satellite navigation, simply key in the postcode, CH49 3PS otherwise exit M53 at junction 2. Follow road signs for Hoylake/West Kirby (A5027) for about 2 miles. When you reach the second roundabout, take the third exit towards Hoylake/West Kirby (B5139). After passing the 'Twelfth Man' and later ‘The Red Cat’ public houses on your left you will come to another roundabout. Take the third exit into Pump Lane then immediately turn first left into Kinloss Road. Pump View is the second house on the right (number 2 Kinloss Road). Rates
Property rental is £380 per week. Shorter term lets are available at £55 per night (minimum stay 3 nights). There are no extra charges for school holidays or bank holidays and provision of linen, towels, electricity and gas are all included.

Short breaks: £55 per night for up to four persons, inc bank holidays (3 nights minimum).

Special offer: Bookings between 31st September 2009 and March 31st 2010 (7 nights minimum) reduced to £280 per week
